01 / CHALLENGE

The problem behind the system.

I wanted a place to explore workflow-engine ideas without the constraints, licensing model or assumptions of enterprise BPM suites.

02 / BUILD

How I approached it.

A clean separation between process definition, execution state and the applications consuming the workflow.
A developer-oriented surface for modelling, running and inspecting workflow behaviour.
An independent codebase: VeloFlow is inspired by my professional experience, but it is not code or IP from the platforms I work on professionally.

03 / OUTCOME

What the system enabled.

VeloFlow has become my sandbox for testing workflow architecture, orchestration, state-management and UX ideas before they turn into bigger systems.
